The 3-star Thermal Hotel was built in the area of the thermal baths in 1999 close to the centre of Mosonmagyarovar. The thermal water of the town has been ranked among the 5 most effective curative waters of Europe. The health hotel has a medical surgery, a treatment department and a dental surgery. The wellness centre of the hotel was opened in December of 2002.

Mosonmagyarovar is situated in the northwest corner of Hungary, 15 km away from each of the Austrian and Slovakian borders. It is also called the „town of rivers”, because it lies on the riverside of the Moson-Danube and it is not only crossed by the Lajta, but also by little millbranches. The historical downtown still guards the memory of the medieval castle and city. Protected baroque buildings, narrow streets, moody wooden bridges are colouring the panorama of Mosonmagyarovar.
The so called Szigetkoz (which is a big island between the Danube and Moson-Danube rivers situated around us) is a great place to go for some water sports, just like canoeing, kayaking or swimming.
The area has a great opportunity for horse-riders and bicycle tourists as well.
Above all things the town’s most valuable treasure is its thermal water, which is one of the five best medical thermal waters in Europe.
Our 3-star thermal hotel was built in 1999, is situated next to the down town in the area of the thermal bath. All the 47 double rooms and 3 apartments are equipped with a bathroom, television, phone, minibar and of course with a safe.
Our Thermal Restaurant seats 120 guests, whereas our grill-terrace can seat 80 guests.
In our restaurant you can enjoy all our international, vegetarian, diet and Hungarian specialities, made by our master chef, who has won not just local but international competitions as well.
Beside our menu you can also try our month’s speciality that is always some good, unique, Hungarian dish!
Beside the restaurant itself, we also have a winter garden and a grill-terrace.
For breakfast we offer a continental buffet style. The guest who has asked for half board will be asked to choose one of our daily menus that are every day two different main courses and a light menu. A diet menu is offered every day as well!

The health hotel has a medical surgery, a treatment department and a dental surgery. The treatment departments can be found in the basement of the hotel. The treatments are based on the medicinal water of the thermal baths.

Sights of Budapest - 2012-02-09
Budapest, lying on both banks of the Danube, is a city which offers many historical and cultural sights.
The two banks of the Danube from Margaret Island to Gellert Hill, the Buda Castle Quarter, the Andrássy út and its historical environment are all the part of the World Heritage.
Some of the outstanding buildings are the Opera House, the Ballet Institute, and the Music Academy. Under the street there is the Millenium Underground Railway, which was the first on the continent. Andrássy út leads to Heroes’ Square. The statues of outstanding Hungarian rulers and leaders stand in the semicircular colonnade. On the two sides of the square there are the Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Gallery.

It was a wonderful experience to walk over the Chain Bridge and to admire some interesting views of the lightened Buda Castle, the Gellert Hill and the Liberty Statue.
