The Spa (under the Management of the Budapest Spas Ltd.) is well-known throughout the world and is the most popular in Budapest amongst foreign visitors. Corridors and elevator lead directly to the bath.

Treatments are based on the utilisation of the Gellért Hill mineral hot springs.

Medicinal content of the water: radioactive with sodium, calcium-magnesium-hydrogen carbonate, sulphate-chloride and fluoride.

Conditions treated: rheumatism (rheumatic and muscular-skeletal disorders), degenerative articular and spinal disorders, inactive stages of chronic arthritis, disc problems, neuralgia, neurological ailments, aortic stenosis, peripheral circulatory disorders, post-traumatic conditions, rehabilitation after bone and joint operations, lumbago.

Contraindications: hypertonia, tuberculosis, malignant tumour, hyperthyreosis, pregnancy, multiple sclerosis, feverish conditions, thrombophlebitis.
