Budapest's X. district, Kőbánya ("Quarry") contains 12 city parts in all and is one of the most important interchange of public transport. Here is namely Kőbánya alsó railway station, Kőbánya-Kispest bus station and the final station of Metro 3, as well as Örs vezér square, which is the final station of Metro 2 and bus station simultaneously. The main sights of Kőbánya are the Csősztorony ("Watchtower"), the Conty chapel, the Dreher Beermuseum, a number of churches, the Planetarium and the big park, Népliget. In the district there are a lot of hotels at affordable prices, mainly 3-star hotels, like for example Hotel Seni, Hotel Nap or Hotel Pest Inn.

Short free time, many sights - 2024.12.11.
Unfortunately I spent only few days in Budapest but I managed to see the most important sights of the city. I climbed the Castle Hill and Gellert Hill and took some photos at the foot of the Liberty Statue. I walked along the Margaret Island and had a pleasant dinner in the city centre, so I had a fantastic time in Budapest.

I have always liked Hungary because this is an amazing country and its thermal baths and wellness hotels are very famous. I visited more wellness hotels but this year I succeeded in staying so nice hotel where I haven't been yet.
